THE CRIMSON REALMS
Based off a fantasy storybook, the hero has finally come into his own, with a little help from some blood-lustful friends…I wrote the segment, scene by scene to have no dialogue. Artwork by Eduardo Mello.
This is the rough sketch after pencils.
The green magic was an important call out differentiating between magic of vampires vs humans (human magic is usually magenta in color)
More color, but I felt like something was missing. Not enough punch.
Since this fantasy based world was all controlled by the most important currency to create magic (Dragon Blood) I added some membrane like blood spills all over to give it a distinct effect.
